Commitment:

Requirements for All BCLA Majors:
Complete a minimum of 30 semester units prior to the application deadline with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Psychology: Successfully complete General Psychology (PSYCH 1) and Statistics (STAT 15 or STAT 18) with a grade of “B” or better at Pasadena City College in each course.
Economics: Successfully complete Microeconomics (ECON 001B) and Macroeconomics (ECON 001A) and Statistics (Math 54) with a grade of “B” or better at Pasadena City College in each course.
Political Science/International Relations: Complete an introductory course in this subject, with a grade of “B” or better at Pasadena City College. Minimum GPA for admission is 3.50.

Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Communication Studies: Successfully complete Argumentation and Debate (COM ST 21) and Interpersonal Communication (COM ST 35), with a grade of “B” or better in each course at Pasadena City College. Students must successfully demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of this major at LMU by specifically addressing their goals and expected outcomes related to this program of study in their application essay. Minimum 3.30 cumulative GPA.
