Rachel Povolotsky

Rachel holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cal State University Northridge and a master's degree in Counseling and College Student Personnel from California Lutheran University. She has worked in higher education since 2020 and has a strong commitment to supporting transfer students, drawing from her own experience transferring during college. Rachel's decision to join LMU's Transfer Admission and Enrollment Services team stems from her genuine passion for working with students and helping them make the most of the opportunities available at LMU. As a first-generation college student with Ukrainian roots, Rachel is fluent in Russian and is eager to assist Russian-speaking students throughout their transfer journey. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and watching movies.
