Contra Costa Community College District

Students who complete a minimum of 60 transferable semester units with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA and enroll full-time in consecutive terms at Contra Costa Community College District with a minimum 3.00 GPA in one or both of those terms, will be guaranteed admission to Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts.

Majors with additional requirements and considerations:

1. Psychology – Students must meet all the above requirements for Liberal Arts, plus successfully complete each of the following LMU equivalent courses:

• PSYCH C1000 (All Colleges)
• STAT C1000 (All Colleges)

with a grade of “B” or better at Contra Costa Community College District in each course.

2. Economics – 

Students must meet all the above requirements for Liberal Arts, plus successfully complete each of the following LMU equivalent courses:

• ECON 220 (CCC/DVC) OR ECON 011 (LMC)
• ECON 221 (CCC/DVC) OR ECON 010 (LMC)
• MATH 190 (CCC) OR MATH 192 (DVC) OR MATH 210 (LMC)
• STAT C1000 (All Colleges)

with a grade of “B” or better at Contra Costa Community College District in each course.

3. Political Science/ International Relations – 

Students must meet all of the above requirements for Liberal Arts, plus successfully complete the LMU equivalent course of an introductory course in:

• POLS C1000 (All Colleges)

with a grade of “B” or better at Contra Costa Community College District.

Students who complete a minimum of 30 transferable semester units prior to filing an application for admission to LMU with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA and enroll full-time in consecutive terms at Contra Costa Community College District with a minimum 3.00 GPA in one or both of those terms, will be guaranteed admission to their major within the College of Communication and Fine Arts.

Majors with additional requirements and considerations:

1. Communication Studies is a competitive major that may be oversubscribed. Accordingly, students must earn a minimum cumulative 3.30 GPA at Contra Costa Community College District and meet all the above requirements for the College of Communication and Fine Arts. In addition, students must complete:

• SPCH 141 (CCC) OR COMM 143 (DVC) OR COMM 120 (LMC)
• COMM C1000 (All Colleges)

with a grade of “B” or better at Contra Costa Community College District in each course.

Students who complete a minimum of 30 transferable semester units prior to filing an application for admission to LMU with a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, enroll full-time in consecutive terms with a minimum 3.00 GPA at Contra Costa Community College District in one or both of those terms, and successfully complete the LMU equivalent course of:

• MATH 190 (CCC) OR MATH 192 (DVC) OR MATH 210 (LMC)

at Contra Costa Community College District with a “B” grade or better will be guaranteed admission.

Students who complete a minimum of 30 transferable semester units prior to filing an application for admission to LMU with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA and enroll full-time in consecutive terms at Contra Costa Community College District with a minimum 3.00 GPA in one or both of those terms, will be guaranteed admission.

1. General Engineering (Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering (B.S.E.), Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering) – Students must meet all the above requirements for Seaver, plus successfully complete each of the following LMU equivalent courses:

• ENGIN 112 (CCC) OR ENGIN 110 (DVC) OR ENGIN 010 (LMC)
• CHEM 120 (CCC/DVC) OR CHEM 025 (LMC)
• PHYS 130 (CCC/DVC) OR PHYS 035 (LMC)

with a grade of “B” or better at Contra Costa Community College District in each course.

2. Math and Science (Applied Math, Applied Physics, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Health and Human Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Data Science) – Students must meet all the above requirements for Seaver, plus successfully complete each of the following LMU equivalent courses:

• BIOSC 147 (CCC) OR BIOSC 131 (DVC) OR BIOSC 020 (LMC)
• CHEM 120 (CCC/DVC) OR CHEM 025 (LMC)
• CHEM 121 (CCC/DVC) OR CHEM 026 (LMC)
• MATH 190 (CCC) OR MATH 192 (DVC) OR MATH 210 (LMC)

with a grade of “B” or better at Contra Costa Community College District in each course.

3. Computer Science (B.S.) – Students must meet all the above requirements for Seaver, plus successfully complete each of the following LMU equivalent courses:
