Requirements for All BCLA Majors:
Complete a minimum of 30 semester units prior to the application deadline with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Psychology: Successfully complete General Psychology (PSYC 101) and Statistics (PSYC 210) with a “B” grade or better at Cerritos College in each course.
Economics: Successfully complete Macroeconomics (ECON 201) and Microeconomics (ECON 202) and Statistics (MATH 112) with a grade of “B” or better at Cerritos College in each course.
Political Science/International Relations: Complete an introductory course in this subject, with a grade of “B” or better at Cerritos College. Minimum GPA for admission is 3.50.

Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Communication Studies: Successfully complete Argumentation and Debate (COMM 103) and Small Group or Interpersonal Communication (COMM 120) with a “B” grade at Cerritos College in each course. Students must successfully demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of this major at LMU by specifically addressing their goals and expected outcomes related to this program of study in their application essay. Earn a minimum 3.30 cumulative GPA.

Complete a minimum of 30 semester units prior to the application deadline with a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, and a minimum 3.00 GPA in each term. Successfully complete Business Calculus (MATH 116) with a “B” grade or better at Cerritos.
