Commitment:
- Apply by February 1 and achieve the agreed upon minimum GPA.
- Complete at least 30 units of transferable coursework prior to the deadline.
- Be enrolled full time in consecutive terms
- Note that GPA and unit requirements must be met by the application deadline.

Requirements for All BCLA Majors:
Complete a minimum of 30 semester units prior to the application deadline with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Psychology: Successfully complete General Psychology (PSYCH 5) and Statistics (PSYCH 9A) with a grade of “B” or better in each course at ECC.
Economics: Successfully complete Macroeconomics (ECON 1) and Microeconomics (ECON 2) with a grade of “B” in each course at ECC.
Political Science/International Relations: Complete an introductory course in this subject, with a grade of “B” or better at ECC. Minimum GPA for admission is 3.50.

Biology: Successfully complete Biology 1 (BIOL 1), Principles of Biology 2 (BIOL 102), General Chemistry 1 (CHEM 1A), General Chemistry 2 (CHEM 1B), and Calculus I (MATH 190) with a grade of “B” in each course at ECC.
Computer Science: Successfully complete Problem Solving (COMP SCI 1), Intro to Data Structures (COMP SCI 2), Calculus I (MATH 190), and Calculus II (MATH 191) with a grade of “B” or better at ECC.
