Requirements for All BCLA Majors:
Complete a minimum of 30 semester units prior to the application deadline with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA, and a minimum 3.0 GPA in each term.
Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Psychology: Successfully complete General Psychology (PSY R101) and Statistics (MATH R105) with a grade of “B” or better at Oxnard Collegee in each course.
Economics: Successfully complete Microeconomics (ECON R102) and Macroeconomics (ECON R101) and Statistics (Math R105) with a grade of “B” or better at Oxnard College in each course.
Political Science/International Relations: Complete an introductory course in this subject, with a grade of “B” or better at Oxnard College. Minimum GPA for admission is 3.50.

Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Communication Studies: Successfully complete Argumentation and Debate (COMM R107) and Interpersonal Communication (COMM R111), with a grade of “B” or better in each course at Oxnard College. Students must successfully demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of this major at LMU by specifically addressing their goals and expected outcomes related to this program of study in their application essay. Minimum 3.30 cumulative GPA.
