Requirements for All BCLA Majors:
Complete a minimum of 30 semester units prior to the application deadline with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Psychology: General Psychology (PSYC 100) and Statistics, with a grade of “B” or better at SMCCCD in each course.
Economics: Successfully complete Macroeconomics (ECON 100) and Microeconomics (ECON 102), and Statistics with a grade of “B” or better at SMCCCD in each course.
Political Science/International Relations: Complete an introductory course in this subject, with a grade of “B” or better at SMCCCD. Minimum GPA for admission is 3.50.

Complete a minimum of 30 semester units prior to the application deadline with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
Additional Requirements for the Following Majors:
Communication Studies: Successfully complete Argumentation and Debate and Small Group/Interpersonal Discussion (COMM 130), with a grade of “B” or better at SMCCCD in each course. Students must successfully demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of this major at LMU by specifically addressing their goals and expected outcomes related to this program of study in their application essay. Minimum 3.40 cumulative GPA.
